The charming loving personality of Dr. Singh is simply wonderful. In all walks of his life, from his Irvine Chemistry laboratory to his spectacular art and cultural presentations, his cooking in the kitchen, his dialogues with the heads of the nations and opinion leaders, his gentleness in handling flowers in garden, writing his in-depth science-spirituality papers or in his simplicity in talking even to a child or a bird, Dr. Singh represented an unimaginable multifaceted personality, manifesting inconceivable depth in sincerity, commitment, love, compassion and friendship. As one of his long-term associates, Prof. Jagdish Srivastava, an Emeritus Professor of the Colorado State University, admiringly observed, “Looking at the diverse activities of Dr. Singh, one might say that he is not one man, but rather, a procession of men.”
Notwithstanding his stature as a renowned spiritual leader and a leading personality at the forefront of world peace and the interface of science and spirituality, Dr. Singh was down-to-earth, personal and unassuming in his dealings with whomsoever he met. Even met for a moment, one would feel change in heart, to say nothing of his transcendental invocations and chanting which would at once evoke one’s touch with the divine. “His gracious, joyous and humble spirit, his deep reverence for God, his keen intellect, his compassionate commitment, his gracious hospitality and his ready laugh are an inspiration, and are incomparable gifts,” revealed Rev. Charles Gibbs, the Executive Director of one of the world’s largest interfaith organizations, the United Religions Initiative (URI). “But,” he added, “perhaps the greatest privilege has been to sit with him in stillness in the presence of the sacred evoked so purely in his beautiful chanting.”
Words of Appreciations from CHARLES H. TOWNES

” Dr. Singh was an outstanding person and a good friend. And I appreciated very much his visit for my 90th birthday celebration. Dr. Singh’s contributions to the understanding of religion and the relation between science and religion have been important and will have a long-standing influence. “
